Before creating an account with a Social Media Network (eg. Twitter or Facebook), make sure you educate yourself, and keep on top of how to keep yourself and others you know safe.

When you sign up to any Social Media Network, make sure you read up about the risks before committing to an account. This will allow you to use Social Media safely. As a parent, Social Media can be a scary thing, so we have listed some helpful resources that will allow you to look deeper into the topic. Explain to your child the risks and dangers they may face when using Social Media Networks, and teach them how to keep themselves safe.
