Skinny and Spark purchased phones only.
Here’s a list of Spark & Skinny purchased mobile phones and devices that are 4G ready. Check your device below and see if it is on the list. If not, you may need a new one before the 3G network is closed.
You can also go to the Spark website and enter your IMEI to find out if your mobile phone is 4G ready. Check my IMEI on Spark website
If your device is on the list but you’re having trouble connecting to 4G, make sure both 4G and VoLTE are switched on and you have downloaded the latest manufacturer software update. If you’re still having issues, check the device manual.
Didn't get your mobile or device from Spark or Skinny?
If you have a mobile from another network operator, or one that you bought from a parallel importer or overseas, it may not be compatible with our network.

What are my options?
If you brought your current mobile phone from Spark or Skinny and it is not listed above, it may not be 4G ready.
If your phone is 3G only you will need to upgrade your handset before the 3G shutdown which you can do here. We will be in touch closer to the time to remind you of the 3G closure in 2025.
What if I brought my mobile phone overseas?
If you didn't buy your mobile phone in New Zealand you can check the lists above to see if your phone is VoLTE compatible and find out more about VoLTE here.
The lists apply to phones purchased through Skinny or Spark. Phone software features can vary per model, however if your phone is in the above list there's a good chance it will work fine on Skinny 4G.
